Okaaay. Got some stories you want to share? Here is chapter 1 and 2 of a story I am writing.
Darkstar - Chapter 1
Long shadows stretched across a school field at night as a couple of daisies sprouted from the ground, watching three cats pad by. One spoke to another. The cat speaking was black and white, and the one listening was black with unnatural blue markings on her ears.
“What can we do?!” the black-and-white cat complained, driving a black paw over her ears. The black one stared at the half moon.
“Hayley, we could explore.”
The black cat suggested slowly. Hayley clawed the clinging grass off the sodden soil. “there is nowhere to explore!” Hayley snapped. The other ginger cat looked at them both as if they have sprouted rabbit ears, then joined in. “Star is right. There must be something good in the bushes.”
Hayley snorted.
“Fine Cerys.. Come on then.” The three padded over the two daisies and made their way over to the moonlit bushes when an acrid scent hit Star’s nose. A smell she couldn’t make out at first, but fathomed it out in less than a minute.
Fire
Star stared helplessly into the bushes and saw green flames clamber up to them. (Something is not right). Star thought, puzzled (the fire is green)
There was no chance to turn tail and flee, because the fire was over them in less than a heartbeat, throwing them into darkness
Chapter 2
Star finally woke up to find she was in a strange, grassy field. There was no moon, and the sky was pure black. The grass is withered, and the only thing she could see was a faint light seeping from a sinister castle in front of her.
“Hayley, Cerys, Anyone?!”
Star’s desperate pleas were returned by a dark laugh. “Ha ha ha ha! What do I have here?” Star’s eyes went wider than an owl’s as a red pair of eyes slashed through the ocean of darkness. “Who are you!?” screeched star. The dark shape grabbed Star tightly on the paw. “Future king!” the voice snapped and faded into silence which lasted for a few moments before it was shattered by a high-pitched yowl.
(The yowling is coming from the castle) Star summarised, Hot-pawing to the huge castle.
